Sestriėre

The golf course of Sestriere was set in the thirties (in1936 it was already hosting an Open, which was won by the famous champion Henry Cotton, and that was a unique happening, as it was the only occasion in which such an important competition was held at high altitude). With its 4.598 m length and its par 67, it hosts the most famous Italian and foreign professional athletes. Usual site for rich PRO.AM competitions where the best golf champions such as Lele Bolognesi, Andrea Canessa, Thierry Corte and Mario Tadini perform, the course will open officially its season at the end of June as usual, and until September it will offer to the many players coming from all over Italy a gorgeous course. It is the technical staff of the Sestrieres S.p.A who takes care of the course using the most advanced and efficient means in order to keep in perfect conditions that very grass surface which in winter is the finish area of the Alpine Skiing World Cup races.
