The Olympic Mountains can boast of no less than 7 MTB schools with fully qualified MTB federation instructors who know the territory inside out and are real mountain bike connoisseurs. The paths unfold for hundreds of kilometers through the 6 Mountain Communities amongst the woods of the moraine hills and on the peaks towering to more than 3000 meters. Various top level competitions are held here in the Summer including the “Via dei Saraceni” (the Road of the Saracens), which attracts at least 5,000 competitors every year, the “Bardonecchia Mountain Classic” and the “Tour dell’Assietta”.
